I was saved in January 1993. I came into the church life in September of 1993. I began to read the ministries of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. As I read their ministry week by week, I was helped to love the Lord Jesus more. According to 2 Corinthians 11:2, Paul was betrothing the Corinthian believers to Christ as their husband. Seemingly Paul was teaching the believers, but Paul's teaching was to guide the believers into focusing on and loving Christ more.
When I began reading Lee's ministry, I was led to know Christ as my life and everything. I realized that the Lord lives in my spirit. (2 Cor. 13:15; 2 Tim. 4:22) Therefore, I can worship God in my spirit. (John 4:24). By calling upon His name, I began to experience the Lord's riches (Rom. 10:12). Then I began to experience the love of God being poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit (Rom 5:5). I began to love the Lord Jesus more and more. Before I read Witness Lee's ministry, I had little love for people. The more I read the ministry, the more I was helped to experience the Lord's love. This increased my love, not just for Christians but for all men including unbelievers. Therefore, I acquired an interest to converse with people. I'm so thankful to the Lord for Brother Witness Lee, his ministry has helped lead me to focus on and love Christ more.
